Evergreen

 

You want to design the greenest planet; the biome card selected from the display determines where you plant seedlings and let trees grow, and it also provides an ability. Not-selected cards determine the yield of a biome. Four seasons comprise rounds, 5 in spring, 4 in summer, 3 in autumn and 2 in winter. Three phases of a round are card selection, actions and abilities, and round end with either preparing the next round or end of season. Actions are: plant up to three seedlings, let up to two trees grow, plant 1 seedling and elsewhere 1 tree, or ignore the biome specifications and plant a tree or seedling in any biome. Abilities relate to plant growth, plant bush, create a lake or count buds. At the end of a season, you score for trees touched by sunbeams and your biggest forest. After the fourth season, you score points for yield and big trees in the final scoring.
