Encyclopedia

You assist Comte du Buffon in completing his encyclopedia of the animal kingdom. At the start of a round four dice are drawn, rolled and placed on players’ research boards. In your turn, you select a die from your own board without effect or from another’s board for the effect of the die position. Then you use the selected die for an action – Embassy, Bank, University, Academy, Expedition or Publication – for money and seals, to recruit experts, choose animals to research or to lead expeditions to other continents. Publication of research results increases your reputation. When all dice from all boards have been taken and used, the round ends. After six rounds, you score collections of minimum four elements – research cubes of a trait or animal and experts cards, and also remaining resources.

Includes the Sepultus Creature mini expansion, featuring six animal cards for dinosaur fossils.
