We build colorful houses, in analogy to the Ribeira Quarter in Porto. Public building orders are on display, and you put three out of five private orders face-down. In each round, you have a turn of either taking cards OR build. If you take cards, you can take up to three of the building cards on display, maximum total value 3, and replenish the display. To build, you play two building cards, one determines the number of floors, the other their color, and then place the corresponding tiles on empty slots in a house, always on the next-higher floor and into the same house. When the top floor is built, you place a roof. You score points 1) for floors built, 2) for floors directly adjacent to a newly built floor, 3) for building a ground floor, 4) for placing a roof, and 5) for completing public orders. This is announced, and the conditions of the order must be exactly met. When the necessary number of roofs is placed, you score completed private orders at the end of the round.
