Zen Garden

As the Emperor’s architect you are tasked with building a garden according to his wishes. In relation to the desired ability a combination of 1 to 5 preferences boards is used, an emperor tile is drawn, and the selection board is filled with garden tiles. In each of 16 rounds you have a turn, comprising 1) selecting and paying for a tile from the selection board, and 2) adding the tile to your garden board; at least one edge of the new tile must be adjacent to a tile already on the board; the tile can be rotated any way before placement and groups of tiles can be relocated within the 4x4 grid before placement of a tile. Identical décor on tiles in a row, column or diagonal gives coins for bonuses. After 16 rounds, you score remaining coins and meet preferences of the Emperor according to the current preference board(s).
