The Walking Pet
As a director, you hire Toons to make blockbuster films in five genres - Action, Adventure, History, SciFi and TV series. You resolve one of three action options: 1. Draw Toons -> discard Toons and draw cards corresponding to the star value of the discarded cards. 2. Take top Toon from the discard pile. 3. Make a film -> discard genre toons or jokers, with a total star value equal to or higher than the budget of the film; then resolve the bonus action of the film and put the card on your own director pile. The more blockbusters of a genre are visible on director piles, the lower the budget for the next one. If you make the 7th film, you win.
Set collecting game for 2-5 players, ages 10+
