Neuland

 

Vikings settle new lands. You take turns until all players have placed all their Vikings and, in your turn, implement one or several actions: You must place a Viking and receive resources and can conquer buildings, finish building sites, take upgrade tile, use shields or claim a trophy. A Viking must be placed adjacent to another Viking or an upgrade tile; then you take the respective resource and place it on your settlement board, it cannot be relocated. Resources are used to meet upgrade tiles and complete building sites; some resources give you victory points at the end. Completed building sites give victory points, shields relate to placement of Vikings, conquered buildings – houses, castles, watchtowers – are placed on free slots on your board; a trophy is claimed once per game for the indicated number of axes on your board. At the end you score victory points for castles, watchtowers, houses, gold, sheep and wood as well as their onuses and also for completed building sites and your trophy minus penalty points for uncompleted upgrade tiles.
