Santiago
Players win auctions for plantations and try to connect them into adjacent areas, must irrigate the plantations quickly and connect them to the canal system. For that, you must bribe the canal overseer, but the output is bigger the sooner you water your plantations and the bigger the total area of a type of plantation. The game comprises 11 rounds of 7 phases each: Reveal plantations and bid for them -change canal overseer, take and place plantations, bribe canal overseer, additional irrigation, resolve draught and receive development subsidy. When all plantations are taken, you resolve reallocation of land and scoring, and you win with most money. First edition Amigo Spiele 2003, first Trefl editon 2015
