Jewel Heist

Jewel Heist

You are either thief or detective and either try to successfully steal jewels from the safe or to unmask the thieves. Jewels are placed in a clear safe, secured by two glass marbles. In the thief phase, all close their eyes and count to ten while the thieves open their eyes and try to steal jewels; each thief only one jewel and falling glass marbles causing loss of points. Stolen jewels are hidden unobtrusively on thieves’ bodies. After the time has run out, the heist is evaluated for alarms triggered and success of theft. If no jewel was stolen, a warrant marker is placed into the Hideout. Thieves lose the game immediately if a second warrant is placed there. Otherwise, all discuss; detectives have only noises and their intuition to go by. Whoever receives most votes is given a warrant. If someone gets their second warrant, the roles are revealed, and gems are distributed accordingly to Hideout and Police Station. The fraction with most jewels wins.
