Via Appia
Rome and Brindisi are about to be connected by building the Via Appia; you acquire stones from the quarry, travel to Brindisi, place tiles and create the road; travelling costs coins but yields victory points. In a turn, you resolve one of the options: Income including receiving coins or stones OR Quarry including sliding on or two or your own discs into the quarry; for each disc dislocated you take a stone tile of equal or smaller size from stock, or sell it for one coin; tiles acquired are loaded correctly onto your cart; OR Road Building; you place one or two tiles correctly into the Via Appia; OR Travel with moving your pawn by 1, 2 or 3 tiles for 1, 3 or 6 coins, only over slots with tiles and along the connecting lines. When Via Appia is complete or someone takes a victory marker in Brindisi, there is – at the end of the round – a scoring for most coins and majorities of build road segments.
Action and placement for path building, for 2-4 players, ages 8+
